Quickstart
TL;DR
Plug symbols into the gridboard to make circuits. Align well with the grid. Never force. Remove symbols by gentle jiggling with the Gridwrench. Always keep symbols parallel to board, especially during removal.

Insertion
Gently insert. Not much force is being used, although it looks like it.
Removal
Gently wiggle the symbols back and forth to remove. Use a Gridwrench inserted into one of the removal holes.
Orientation
Gridboards must face up. Gridboards may be oriented in any direction.
All symbols must be facing up. Almost all symbols may be rotated freely. “Oriented symbols” must all be oriented in the same direction on the same gridboard.
Power Supply
Although the USB power supply is protected in two ways, we do not recommend shorting it for a long period of time. It can heat up tremendously. It’s current limited to approximately 200mA, but it can do higher.
Do not use a valuable USB port to power the Gridboard. The Gridboard is designed for prototyping electronics, things can happen.
Always turn off the power supply before inserting or removing symbols.
